“Dancing has had a huge impact on my life.  I can’t imagine my life without it!  I’m a long time competitive dancer and have been fortunate to dance with some of the very best in the industry.  I danced competitively with Scott for 12 years, doing smooth.  He is an amazing teacher – knowledgeable, patient, and a sheer pleasure to dance with.  I began dancing with Igor when he moved to Minneapolis ( thank you Meghan!), and this is the 5th year of our partnership.  Igor’s talent and skill set alone make him a great dancer, but his passion for continuing to improve and passing on his knowledge makes him a great teacher as well.  My dancing has improved immensely, and today I am proud to say our pro-am partnership is one of the top in the country in my division.

The coaches Meghan and Igor bring in are the very best – they are former champions and experts, but also know how to impart their knowledge and enjoy working with students of all levels.  The Studio is focused on continuing to learn, improve teaching and help each student meet their personal goals.

I have met so many wonderful people who live across the U.S. who share a passion for ballroom dance who I never would have met, and explored many different cities I might not have otherwise travelled to.  The most important benefit to me today is how dancing improves your health and wellbeing.  There is no other exercise that challenges your mind, along with your body – movement is so important to your overall health!  Lastly, I can’t put into words the sheer joy of partnership dancing when the music is great and you’re moving as one!”
